Wolf Connection was notified by a good samaritan that Hoven was at the nearby Castaic shelter. Due to changing family dynamics, the woman who rescued him had to move out of state for work separating Hoven from his pack mate. Hoven was left in the backyard and promptly escaped, where he ended up at the shelter. The woman contacted us and we were able to bring Hoven to WC. He has shown himself to be a tracker (because he is very active with his nose) as well as a hunter. Calmly spending time with him invites pause and presence. Beneath his handsome appearance is a deeply sensitive being.
